Five Links Friday 1/4/19

January 4, 2019 By: Jason Bougger

The Best Articles About Writing I Read This WeekAnd we’re back with the first edition of Five Links Friday for the year. Hope your year is off to a great start. Enjoy the links and have a great weekend!

1. Let’s start the year out right with 10 Books You Need To Help Your Writing Life by Rachel Thompson at BadRedhead Media.

2. Next up, here’s a post by Debbie Ridpath Ohi at InkyGirl with How To Find Time To Read More Books In 2019.

3. Here’s an older post by that I probably shared before, but it’s worth checking out again: 5 Reasons to Handwrite Your Story by Victoria Griffin.

4. Another old post worth giving another look: Six Easy Tips for Self-Editing Your Fiction by Kristen Lamb.

5. Finally, here is Confidence Through Criticism: A Lesson in Self-Esteem from Walt Whitman by Maria Popova at BrainPickings. I get bonus points for sharing this from all the Whitman nerds at my day job 🙂

And that is it. I hope the first week of 2019 has been as wonderful for you as it has for me. Keep writing, and get an early start on all of your 2019 goals.
